Recognizes the agents you already run

  • Claude Code
  • Codex CLI
  • Cursor Agent
  • Aider
  • Gemini CLI
  • opencode
  • Goose
  • Amp
  • omp
  • Ollama
  • Anything you mark as an agent

Every child, grandchild and escapee.

Agents Monitor follows each agent's process lineage. Dev servers that detach with setsid stay in the tree, tagged detached, so nothing slips away.

  • LIVE agent still running, detached members included
  • ORPHANED agent exited, its processes did not
  • UNCONFIRMED matched by environment only, never killed

CPU, memory, disk and ports. Live.

Per process and per tree, refreshed every two seconds. See which dev server holds port 5173, how hard it works, and open it with one click.

Watch node_modules grow before your disk fills.

Heavy folders in each agent's working directory, like node_modules, target, .venv and .next, are measured every minute, with a growth rate you can alert on.

A nudge when a tree runs hot.

Set limits per process and per tree for CPU, memory, disk writes and folder growth. A sustained breach sends one macOS notification, not a flood.

  • Fires once per episode, after the limit holds for 10 seconds by default
  • Tree alerts quiet the process alerts inside the same tree

Kill the whole tree. Nothing respawns.

Agents Monitor freezes the tree, rescans for new children, then terminates every member. Each kill is confirmed, lists its targets and lands in a local log.

  • Refuses pid 1, itself, its own parents and other users' processes
  • Rechecks each process's identity before every signal

Agent gone? Its leftovers go too.

Clean orphans kills what an exited agent left behind, in one confirmed click. Opt-in auto-kill waits until orphans sit idle, then counts down.

  • Auto-kill is off by default and set per agent
  • Cancel any countdown, or pause auto-kill across restarts
  • Skips anything running in your terminal's foreground

Lives quietly in your menu bar.

Live agent count, total CPU, active alerts and the next auto-kill countdown, one glance away. Close the window and it keeps watching.

Private by design.

A local tool for your own Mac. It only ever acts on processes that belong to you.

  • Runs on your Mac

Process lists, ports and folder sizes are read from macOS on your machine. Settings and the kill log stay in local files.

  • No account, no telemetry

Open the app and it works. It never phones home and never inspects your network traffic.

  • Native Rust

A compiled app with a real menu-bar icon. A full sample of your process table takes under 250 ms.

One price. Yours for good.

No subscription and no tiers. Everything Agents Monitor does, plus every update after.

Common questions.

Not covered here? Write to support@haziapp.com.

What do I need to run it?

A Mac running macOS 26 or later. Agents Monitor is a native app with nothing else to install. macOS asks once whether it may show notifications.

Which agents does it recognize?

Out of the box: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor Agent, Aider, Gemini CLI, opencode, Goose, Amp, omp and Ollama. For anything else, select its process row and click Mark to treat it as an agent, or add your own rule to the config file. Marks can be removed in Settings.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay $29.99 USD once. There are no renewals, no tiers and no paid upgrades.

What does "lifetime updates" mean?

Every new version of Agents Monitor we release is included with your purchase at no extra cost. You never pay again to stay current.

How do I download it after buying?

Right after checkout you get your license key and a download button. Lost your key? Sign in to Polar's customer portal with your purchase email to see it again. Any time later, visit the download page, enter your license key, and get the latest version.

Can it kill something I still need?

Not without you. Every manual kill and Clean asks first and lists each target. Kills refuse pid 1, Agents Monitor itself, its parent processes and other users' processes. Clean only touches orphans of agents that already exited. Auto-kill is off until you turn it on, waits for idle orphans, counts down at least 10 seconds, and skips anything in your terminal's foreground.

Can I get a refund?

Contact support within 14 days of purchase at support@haziapp.com and include the email address you used at checkout.

Does it send my data anywhere?

No. Agents Monitor reads process information from macOS on your Mac and keeps its settings and kill log in local files. It has no account, no telemetry, and it does not inspect network traffic.

Know what your agents left running.
